Pre-School Room

Our pre-school room cares for children from 2 1/2 to 5 years and we are registered to care for up to 22 children of this age at any one time.

At this stage of a child's development they are like little sponges when it comes to learning and their enthusiasm for life is often great! We embrace this time and make learning lots of fun!

At Little Moonbeams we aim to offer an exciting and highly motivating introduction to education and encourage a positive attitude towards learning.

The activities offered will be differentiated to suit each child's needs.  We believe in allowing children to be able to accomplish realistic goals and be suitably rewarded before setting the next challenge.

It is our aim that as children leave Little Moonbeams to start 'Big School' they will have a gained a good introduction to the use of letters and numerals and be happy and confident in taking this major step.

There are so many toys, games and puzzles in this room the children don't know where to start! However, the pre-school staff do and the children have losts of fun and are learning all of the time.
